Accepted Methods of Payment: We accept payment via check (personal or cashier's), money orders, or PayPal. With Paypal or money orders, your items will be shipped upon their completion. With check payments, your order will ship after the check has cleared the bank, or when the order has been completed (whichever takes longer).
Deposits: Any Order over $100 will require a deposit before work is started. A refund of the deposit, if necessary, is on the discretion of Bast Designs. If you have questions or concerns about this policy, please feel free to contact us for more information.
Rush Service: If you need an order immediately, in about 1/2 to 2/3 the standard completion times (see below), or need a multiple-piece order within the same amount of time that is stated for a single-piece order, there will be a rush fee of $10.00 added to your total. If priority shipping is also requested, additional charges may be incurred. While all forms of payment shown above are accepted for rush orders, paying with a personal check may cause unwanted delays, so please keep this in mind when choosing your payment method.
Extreme Rush Service: This service applies when you need an order to be completed in less than half the standard completion time (see below), or a multiple-piece order is needed in half the time of a single piece. A rush of $25.00 to $35.00 (depending on quantity of items ordered) will be added to your total, in addition to any extra shipping and handling fees. Due to time constrictions, Extreme Rush Service orders must be paid via Paypal on the day of the order.
Please remember that all of my items are made by hand, so the more I need to make, the longer it takes. Even with Rush Service and Extreme Rush Service, multiple-piece orders must still be reasonably sized to be completed in a short period of time.
Wholesale & Discounts: At this time, we don't offer specific wholesale pricing. However other discounts may apply, and are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you place a large order, either for an individual or a dance company, or if you own a retail business, you may be eligible for a quantity discount. There are also special discounts for customers who purchase a costume from Skye’s Belly dance to match your Bast Designs jewelry, Please email me for details.
Shipping: The base shipping fee is $5.00, including tracking and insurance. This covers up to one pound via USPS
Priority Mail. All orders weighing over a pound will be based on weight. Certified delivery is available for an additional charge. We are also willing to ship products in a manner requested by the customer, subject to necessary fees. Please contact us to make special shipping arrangements.
International Orders: International orders are welcome. You will pay exact shipping charges, per the manner of delivery requested. However, you must pay with an international postal money order or via
PayPal. Please email me for to get the exact charges.
Returns,
Exchanges and
Refunds: Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis, and there is no guarantee of a full refund. Items arriving broken will be refunded or replaced, upon return receipt of items and shipping container (to show to carrier). Exchanges are also considered on a case-by-case basis, and must be approved before returning the items. The customer pays all postage fees for an exchange. Due to hygiene and health considerations, we can accept no returns on pierced earrings.
Jewelry
Adjustments: Adjustments are done free of charge. If the adjustments were necessary due to an error by Bast Designs, we will pay for necessary postage. If incorrect measurements or other information was provided by the customer, causing the adjustments to be made, the return postage will not be refunded or reimbursed. Please be sure to check the measuring instructions on this site before placing your order to endure a proper fit.
Privacy Policy: Bast Designs does not share or sell any information about our customers to anyone - EVER.
